We emerged as a group of young researchers in training, setting a series of objectives aimed at improving the academic training stage during the doctoral process. These objectives are generally focused on:
- Increasing the quality of doctoral training for adequate human and intellectual development.
- Improving the working conditions (in terms of the relationship with their work environment) of postgraduate students.
- Promoting scientific dissemination across all sectors of society.
The objectives of A.J.I.F.
From the outset, we established the following objectives, which form the foundation of our association's work:
a) To promote the necessary actions to achieve institutional recognition of the rights of young researchers in training, defining them as: those individuals who conduct scientific and/or technological research as part of their postgraduate academic training at a Public University.
b) To defend the quality and excellence in the academic and scientific fields during the training stage of young researchers, ensuring their proper human and intellectual development.
c) To propose within the institutional framework evaluation systems for the quality of human resources training, recognizing its importance in the academic and scientific development of young researchers in training.
d) To carry out actions aimed at improving the training of young researchers in training, recognizing and promoting the importance of freedom of thought, idea generation, and participation in the planning and projection of scientific work.
e) To take actions to improve the relationship between supervisors and young researchers in training.
f) To create a support environment that provides legal advice for young researchers in training and can act as mediators with their work group.
g) To create spaces for discussion on scientific and civic ethics, philosophical debates, and the value of science and knowledge.
h) To strive for improvements in the scientific system, defending human and intellectual integrity, quality in training, quality of work, the commitment and responsibility of generating knowledge, interaction with society, and scientific dissemination.
i) To make known and enforce the rights and duties of young researchers in training.
j) To promote the training and development of human resources.
k) To encourage the dissemination and/or publication of scientific work, without making it the sole reason for conducting research or recognizing the work done.
l) To promote the dissemination of the aforementioned points.
m) To foster agreements with national and international public or private institutions that declare common interests with this association.
n) To generate resources, either independently or with the participation of public or private entities, in order to grant scholarships and/or subsidies to young researchers and/or advanced students for the development of their scientific research work and/or academic training.
